“ Great food, shredded pork taco was wonderful. Nice salsa bar. Very clean and friendly ambiance. ”
“ Found this place looking for late night bites, and was pleasantly surprised to find they were open until 3am! Service was quick and the atmosphere was great. I do wish they had more vegetarian options. However, I did appreciate the salsas - they were flavorful and seemed fresh! ”
“ One of the better Mexican food spots in the area for sure. I’ve had the pleasure of eating here several times over the last year, so a review is well over due. I’m a torta man myself , so I’ll usually either get one with asada or a burrito - both are fantastic, filling and well priced. They have a pretty wide variety of food options also which is nice - not just your typical, “tacos and burritos” but also quesatacos, sopes, tostadas and quite a bit more. Check it out, you won’t regret it. ”
“ This place slaps. Try the Suadero beef brisket fried up in pork fat with some delicious almond match salsa that is to die for. This place makes some of the best tacos I've ever had outside of California and I cannot wait to try more. So I'm gonna snag some second and remember to take a picture this time :D Overall my favorite two were the Suadero and the Carnitas which pass my "doesn't need salsa" test and the birria was insanely juicy and fell apart in my mouth. Surprise treat was the pastor being cutup like lardons with actual pieces of pineapple in the taco Plus they have like 3 frescas! Horchata, cucumber lime and an awesome mango one! Give it a try soon! Edit 1: Ok, I came back for a burrito and ended up getting 2 queso tacos and 2 regular. Mixed the consome with their salsa match and I am in heaven! Queso tacos are usually birria but I got Suadero and it's amazing. Poured the consome salsa mix on my pastor and asada with pickled onions and it was amazing. I need to eat something else here sometimes but rare is the place I want to eat at back to back but this place is it ”
“ been here a couple times now and food is always fast fresh and delicious, prices are very fair the sauces are really good and the place is always really clean, highly recommend trying this place if you haven’t ”
“ My partner and I had just finished celebrating a birthday by a bar in the area, but we were pretty hungry and craving some fast/late night bites. It was around 9:50pm on a Saturday, and almost all the food places were closed (unfortunately most Portland places close early compared to other cities). We found La Real around the corner with all 5-star reviews, so we had to try it. Bonus, it’s open until 3am on Friday and Saturday! The food portions were huge and fairly priced! Sooo good and they had a delicious salsa bar too! I hope this location is able to stay open and maintain its late night hours! Also they had great, friendly staff which is always another bonus. ”
“ Upon arriving in Portland from a 7-hour Greyhound bus ride, I was famished and craving some good Mexican food. I found La Real and glad I visited. I ordered the taco plate, got 3 different meats and came with rice and beans and some sour cream lettuce and tomato. Delicious and a good value IMO for 12.50. They have a condiment station with all the salsa fixings, limes, all that stuff. Delicious and hit the spot. ”
“ Holy crow!!!!! The food here is outstanding!! I highly recommend you visit and eat here. The food comes out quickly and it delicious. The staff are very friendly and the place is clean. The price is very fair. The area is pretty safe too that the restaurant is located. ”
